Dear Prospective Client:

Thank you, in advance, for considering my qualifications for providing intellectual property counsel regarding intellectual property matters. Simply put, I am adept at working with innovators to refine and protect their ideas, having learned best practices from some and worked for some of the best intellectual property firms and most IP-oriented, innovative companies in the world.

My core competencies are analytical capability, communication, and legal skills earned over a long professional career including six years of experience practicing patent law as a registered U.S. Patent Agent and Attorney.

From these experiences and capabilities, I have developed subject matter expertise in numerous technical areas within the computer science, electrical, and mechanical arts; and become highly skilled at generating value from that expertise. For example, I have worked closely with inventors and business managers to draft 70+ patent applications from scratch, and prosecute hundreds of pending applications (mine and others) around the world. In doing so, I have the privilege to work across a wide range of technologies including: diagnostic sensors; energy efficiency technologies; laser technologies and applications; manufacturing methods; medical devices and implants; non-invasive surgical technologies; and software applications, including experience with artificial intelligence, blockchain, graphical interfaces, and machine learning inventions.

With every engagement, my mission is to utilize my capabilities and experience to help my clients build and maintain legal monopolies in the most efficient manner possible.

Please let me know if there might be an opportunity to work together. I am always open to new ideas and would love to hear from you. In the meantime, I will be continue spending time in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with my wife Christina and our corgi Sadie.

kind regards,
